Religion Of The People - Part Two

(If you have not read the Part One of this article it would be beneficial to read it first, click on this link, Religion of the People – Part One).

In part one we proved from the Scriptures that neither true Islam nor genuine Christianity will becomedominant at this end time. The Apostate Religion shall reign although temporarily!! Islamic aggression and persecution would cause to come into prominence a version of religion that accommodates all faiths, tolerates all forms of worship, supports government and persecutes the faithful saints. This is Babylon the Great! And that is what I call, the Religion of the People.

Signs pointing to this development

There are signs with which you would know that the Apostate Religion is gaining momentum. Some of them are;

1. The gospel of Inclusion

An article in the Gotquestions.org properly explained this concept. It reads, "The gospel of inclusion is simply the old heresy of universalism re-packaged and given a new name. Universalism is the belief that all people will eventually be saved and go to heaven. The gospel of inclusion, as taught by Carlton Pearson and others, encompasses several false beliefs:

God'sWord Speaks'

(1) The gospel of inclusion says that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ paid the price for all of humanity to enjoy eternal life in heaven without any need for repentance.

(2) The gospel of inclusion teaches that salvation is unconditional and does not even require faith in Jesus Christ as the payment for mankind’s sin debt.

(3) The gospel of inclusion believes that all humanity is destined to life in heaven whether or not they realize it.

(4) The gospel of inclusion declares that all humanity will go to heaven regardless of religious affiliation.

(5) Lastly, the gospel of inclusion holds that only those who intentionally and consciously reject the grace of God—after having “tasted the fruit” of His grace—will spend eternity separated from God.

The gospel of inclusion runs counter to the clear teachings of Jesus and the Bible. In John’s Gospel, Jesus clearly states that the only path to salvation is through Him (John 14:6). God sent Jesus into the world to secure salvation for fallen humanity, but that salvation is only available to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ as God’s payment for their sin (John 3:16). The apostles echo this message (Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 Peter 1:8–9; 1 John 5:13). Faith in Jesus Christ means no longer trying to secure salvation based on works, but rather trusting that what Jesus did was sufficient to secure salvation."

Pope Francis was already propagating this gospel ideology when he declared that atheists do not need to believe in God to enter heaven. In his letter to the founder of La Republica newspaper, Eugenio Scalfari, which was published by The Independent1, a UK based news media, the Pope stated that non-believers would be forgiven by God if they followed their consciences. This gospel is already being propagated by many preachers, and it is going to come into prominence in no distant time.

2. Interfaith movement

The interfaith ideology is what motivates the policies of USA on religion. America is the headquarters of the interfaith movement. Created by the United Nations, the Interfaith Movement is aimed at meshing all religious beliefs into one, a confluence of all religions where no one religion is seen as superior. As the Guardians of this UN agenda, the USA through their presidents, past and present, has made statements, taken actions and pursued policies which favoured Islam. Some politically minded churches in the USA have preached from both the Koran and the Bible, as they see both books as equal. The Interfaith Movement is intertwined with the Gospel of Inclusion. This is the faith of the Antichrist! This is the religion of the Antichrist!! This is the religion that would conquer the world and orchestrate the persecution of true Christians in a bloody massacre never seen before.

The Peace Propaganda

The current Islamic revolution would trigger a global outcry for peace. The world governments are going to respond by promoting a religion of peace where all religions are seen as equal; where the Interfaith Movement and the Gospel of Inclusion come to the fore. The world would see this as the middle ground and a lasting solution to religious violence. By this, Babylon the Great sits and rides the political horse of Apocalypse! Watch out!!

Exhortation

The powers of hell can corrupt the Church, persecute the saints, but cannot obliterate Christianity. Jesus said, “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” (Matt.16:18). No matter which way it goes, the government of Jesus Christ shall prevail over and above all, when He comes to rule this world for a thousand years. In the meantime, let us embrace the original gospel delivered by Jesus Christ and preached by the Apostles. All who preach a contradictory gospel are under a curse. Paul decreed, “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!” (Gal.1:8-9).

The way to avoid the snare of these deceptive ‘gospel’ is to adopt the attitude of Apostle Paul who believed the Scripture. “But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.” Acts 24:14. Total faith in God’s Word is absolutely essential at this time. Even though you may be in the minority, you have to resolve to live by the Word of God. In these times of massive corruption of the gospel, would you be found firmly standing on the whole Truth of God’s Word?
